The University of Melbourne School of Rural Health, invites you to participate in its 4th Annual Research Conference. The Conference will take place on Thursday October 16th 2008 from 9.00am to 5.00pm with a pre-conference workshop on Wednesday October 15th.

The research conference, entitled:“Chronic Disease Management in Rural Areasis intended for individuals and organisations with an interest in rural health, including general practice, primary health care, integrated care and population health, research and evaluation.

The focus of the conference is to bring mutually beneficial rural research forward and to provide an opportunity to showcase and discuss chronic disease management in rural areas.

The School of Rural Health and its stakeholders seek to build its capacity and a sustainable research program to train and support researchers in rural Victoria.  This activity is supported by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing.
