School Facilities

Library

The School has made agreements for student access to each of the affiliated hospital libraries which carry texts and provide access to The University of Melbourne library system. Students may access books and journal articles via the Buddy & Cuckoo systems. Hospital library staff are rated by students as helpful and accessible. Computers and photocopying facilities are available in the libraries.

Computing facilities

Computer laboratories are provided at each of the School's teaching centres. Students may access machines for University email and internet for study purposes. Printing and photocopying services are available.

Other teaching facilities

At Shepparton, Graham St facilities include a lecture theatre, tutorial rooms, computer lab, and clinical skills room. A building program for completion by second semester 2005 involves re-development of the Goulburn Valley Health Specialist Consulting Suite for teaching, and construction of a new Library and fully equipped Clinical Skills Laboratory, including a state of the art simulator.

Building works are also underway at Ballarat and Wangaratta to provide tutorial rooms, computer labs and student facilities. These will also be ready for occupation by second semester 2005.
