Who can do a PhD?
The University of Melbourne's School of Graduate Research (MSGR) centrally confers the 3-4 year PhD. Doctor of Philosophy candidates are required to meet minimum standards in relation to 6 criteria including the completion of a four-year honours degree from an Australian university or an equivalent qualification as determined by the University's Research Higher Degree Committee.
