Bachelor of Nursing Science (Accelerated)

The course leads to a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) award and eligibility for registration as a Division 1 Nurse with the Nurses Board of Victoria. The course is delivered as 2-year Accelerated degree at the Parkville campus.

As a student of the Bachelor of Nursing Science you will benefit from:

•  a greater number of clinical hours than those offered in other nursing courses;
•  integrated theory and practice: two days per week in classes and three in clinical practice;
•  undertaking clinical placement in a variety of settings usually within one hospital or agency;
•  research internship opportunities during semester breaks
•  the School being centrally located to our affiliated clinical agencies;
•  average class size of 30 to 40 students;
•  eligibility to register as a Division 1 Nurse with the Nurses Board of Victoria;
•  becoming qualified to work in a profession where your skills are in demand
