Student feedback
" Very good access to hospital patients, access to specialist consultants many of whom have non-advanced registras (ie pre-FRACP) who tend to expalin for the level we require, bedside teaching is very good, access to the private hospital, very helpful library staff, more DR's who have come through the Austrlaian corriculum and therefore have more of an idea of what students need to/should know at a particular level of their training".
"Overall the teaching from either Ballarat, Shepparton or Wangaratta clinical schools is excellent . All three places run tutorials with consultants in any school building and these are of equal quality".
Wangaratta: "The teaching staff are fantastic and so enthusiastic about making sure we get the most of our experience here"
Shepparton: "The pods are more homely, close proximity to hospital and RCS, Clinical skills lab and simulations, clinical facilitators, better access to the ED".
Ballarat: "Non RCS Dr's are also keen to teach, Cath lab, more bedside teaching, more teachers by the registrars".
"Very good access to academic Dr's intimately involved with the Melbourne curriculum and very interested in students doing well, additional resources such as Jen Keast and Anne Thewlis to facilitate procedural experiences on wards, essentially access to the hospital, good theatre access, good ability to access ED so you can see 'cold' patients".

"Well organised academic and admin staff close at hand. Very specific guidance about expectations from clinical exposure. Most find this very comforting. Accommodation is of a very good standard - modern, with sufficient facilities".
"Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Both staff and patients are very accepting and welcoming of students. Less specific guidance of clinical exposure, but greater freedom to involve yourself in patient care. Accommodation is excellent - both new and spacios, and on the edge of town - affording both privacy and excellent views to appreciate and explore (Cycling, running etc)"
