Beechworth

Cradled in the foothills of the Australian Alps, Beechworth is a fascinating and beautiful town of many contrasts. A town, rich in history that offers a wonderful glimpse into centuries past, Beechworth is a place to discover natural beauty… meandering streams and thundering waterfalls, deep rocky gorges, rolling green valleys and stark granite outcrops.
Beechworth is 258km north-east of Melbourne and 35km east of Wangaratta.

Chronic care management
District Nursing home visits are a great experience as well as the prison visits.

Past students’ comments/suggestions

Doctors, nurses and patients alike treated us all very warmly.  The prison visit was a good highlight – please make the visits longer.
Health Service staff and Beechworth residents were really welcoming and friendly.  Good comprehensive timetables
